Moving a load-bearing wall, relocating plumbing or gas, opening up a closed-off kitchen in an older home, fixing floors that were never level: these are the projects many remodelers turn down. They are the ones we take on.
Morgan Remodel designs and builds your whole kitchen, from permits and structural changes to cabinets, countertops and finishes, with one team accountable from start to finish. Before we meet, our free Kitchen Remodel Guide helps you set priorities, and our kitchen remodel pricing page gives you a realistic starting budget.
Areas we serve: Indianapolis and central Indiana, including Carmel, Greenwood, Franklin and Mooresville.
We take on the hard projects. Older homes, structural changes and the surprises behind the walls are where our experience shows. One homeowner came to us after several contractors told them an addition floor that was 2⅛” out of level could not be fixed. We leveled it and installed hardwood throughout.
A limited number of projects, so yours gets real attention. We take on a limited number of remodels at a time on purpose. Either Jon or Michael Morgan manages your project personally, and you will have a direct line to the person running it.
See your kitchen before we build it. On most projects we create a 3D design of your new kitchen, so you can see the layout, cabinets and finishes and make changes before demolition starts.
No guesswork on cost or quality. We publish starting prices online, give you a detailed scope before work begins, and back our workmanship with a 5-year guarantee.
Removing old cabinets, countertops, flooring and walls so your new kitchen starts on a clean, solid base.
Removing a load-bearing wall, changing a window or moving plumbing or electrical often requires a permit. We handle the permits and inspections for you.
Paint, reface or replace. Painting or refacing works when your cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works. New cabinets let you change the layout and add pull-outs, pantry storage and soft-close drawers.
Quartz is the most popular choice for its durability and low maintenance. Granite, quartzite and marble offer natural stone character, and laminate keeps costs down.
Luxury vinyl plank, engineered hardwood, nail-down hardwood and tile are the most common choices. We’ll help you pick a floor that handles spills and traffic and flows into the rooms next door.
Tile, stone or glass. A backsplash protects your walls from splashes and grease, and it’s one of the easiest places to add personality.
Moving the sink, range or refrigerator, adding an island or removing a wall to open the kitchen to your living space. Layout changes have the biggest impact on how your kitchen works day to day.
Recessed lighting, under-cabinet lights, pendants over the island and the extra outlets a modern kitchen needs.
Relocating or adding a sink, connecting a dishwasher, pot filler or refrigerator water line, and updating old supply and drain lines.
Patching, hanging and finishing drywall after walls move or plumbing and wiring change, so your new kitchen has smooth, finished walls.
Fresh paint on walls, ceilings and trim to finish the room and tie it to the rest of your home.
Most kitchen remodels take 2–8 weeks once construction starts, depending on the scope of work. If your project needs a permit, add 3–4 weeks depending on your municipality. Cabinet lead times can also affect the start date, so we’ll confirm your schedule before work begins.
Cost depends on the size of your kitchen, any layout changes and the cabinets, countertops and finishes you choose. Our kitchen remodel pricing page shows typical ranges, and you’ll get a detailed proposal after we visit your home.
Yes. Keeping the sink, range and refrigerator where they are avoids most plumbing, gas and electrical changes, which usually lowers the cost. If your current layout doesn’t work for you, though, changing it is often the improvement you’ll appreciate most.
For most of the project, no. Many homeowners set up a temporary kitchen in another room with the refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker. We’ll help you plan for it before work starts.
We start with a free phone consultation to talk through your goals, then visit your home to take measurements. From there we develop your design, finalize your selections and schedule construction. Our Kitchen Remodel Guide is a great way to prepare.
Often, yes. Structural changes, older homes and tricky layouts are a big part of what we do. Tell us what you have been told, and we will give you an honest answer about what is possible.

Jon and his crew were such a pleasure to work with. We had never done this before, and the nervousness we felt was put at ease. Jon’s attention to detail and timely appointments were so helpful. The communication was excellent. If we ever had a question, Jon would return our call quickly. I plan on using Morgan Remodeling for future projects.Posted on Google![]()

We recently worked with Morgan Remodel LLC to update our outdated bathroom, and the results are fantastic. Our old setup had a clawfoot tub, a single vanity, and almost no storage. Mike and Jon completely reimagined the space, turning it into a modern, functional bathroom that feels twice as big. They were professional and transparent from start to finish, making sure every detail met our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Morgan Remodel to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled remodeling team.Posted on Google![]()

My wife and I recently used Jon and his crew for a full remodel of our bathroom. Jon was easy to communicate with and very patient in helping us select the right options for our new bathroom. We ended up going with the Onyx Collection for ease of maintenance. Morgan Remodel did an outstanding job with our new bathroom and we would highly recommend them. Jon's entire team is skilled, professional and very detail oriented. Our project came in on time and budget.Posted on Google![]()

Morgan Remodeling has the best team of Craftsmen I have ever worked with. They were on time, stayed on budget, and were very nice people. The quality of their work was outstanding!! I would Highly recommend them. I will certainly be a repeat customer. And they were able to straighten and level the floor of an addition to our home that was done years ago. It was built out of level 2 1/8”. Several other contractors said it could not be done. Micheal said that they could, and they did!! It looks amazing. Now I have hardwood flooring throughout my home. Thank you Micheal!!Posted on Google![]()

They took my DIY project I started to address some safety issues in my home and transformed it into my new favorite room in my house. They're very hands on with customers who like to hang out while they're working through the job, which is great. I really liked that they lidar scanned the room, and started with a 3d render of the imagined finished product. But above all, I most liked that they knew it was just a mock-up, and went with the flow when things cropped up around legitimate issues, as well as my personal taste while things were in flight. Not easy to pull off!Posted on Google![]()

John and his team helped us turn our tiny-feeling, outdated 1970s bathroom into a modern oasis. From start to finish they were attentive, on top of communication, and helped us stay within our budget without compromising on quality. From the plumber to the carpenters to the painters, everyone who worked on the project was top-notch and super conscientious. I would highly recommend them for home renovation projects. They will be the first people we call when we're ready to tackle our next project.
